Benefits of Bananas
Bananas contain major percentage of water in it. They are high in potassium, which controls high blood pressure and reduces risk of the heart diseases. In conjunction with Sodium they help maintain the fluid and electrolyte balance in body cells which in turn maintains healthy nerve and muscle function. They also contain tryptophan which the body converts to serotonin to aid peaceful sleep.
